{"id":223,"date":"2011-11-19T11:28:23","date_gmt":"2011-11-19T11:28:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sacod.ufpr.br\/ppgdesign\/?page_id=223"},"modified":"2013-08-14T15:12:44","modified_gmt":"2013-08-14T15:12:44","slug":"ensino-a-distancia","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sacod.ufpr.br\/ppgdesign\/didatica\/ensino-a-distancia\/","title":{"rendered":"<!--:en-->Distance Learning<!--:--><!--:pt-->Ensino a Dist\u00e2ncia<!--:-->"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--:en-->The PPGDesign in line with the goals of distance education has been gradually entering this field.\u00a0In 2010 Prof..\u00a0J.\u00a0Marconi Souza participated in distance education course on UFPR promoted, and the Center for Design and developed Sustentable actions related to the teaching of sustainability through the Consortium LENS South America through a series of exchange activities between the partner institutions.\u00a0LENS The consortium aims to produce jointly a package of Open E-Learning (a modular and adaptable package for the development of curricula with materials and design tools for teachers, as well as guides for courses design and implementation\u00a0in various contexts).\u00a0Also since 2008, the NDS has developed with Prof..\u00a0Dr. Aguinaldo dos Santos module online Corporate Social Responsibility &#038; Design now available on the website of this network (www.lens.polimi.it), which is comprised of the Politecnico di Milano institutions Unversity, Department INDACO (Italy), Delft University of\u00a0Technology, Industrial Design Engineering (Netherlands), University of Art and Design Helsinki, School of Design (Finland), Indian Institute of Technology New Delli, Department of Humanities &#038; Social Sciences (India, Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology (India)\u00a0, Tsinghua University, Industrial Design Department, Academy of Arts &#038; Design (China), King Mongkut&#8217;s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Industrial Design (Thailand).<\/p>\n<p>In addition to distance learning, the program&#8217;s practice to virtual participation of external examiners in the online qualification via skype stalls, as well as the participation of researchers from institutions in other regions of Brazil and \/ or abroad in the discussions in this format.\u00a0This has optimized resources on travel and per diem cost of the program and shown to be a healthy practice and with good results.\u00a0An example is the implementation of the Department of Human PPGS the &#8216;skype kit&#8217; from the positive experience of the Graduate Program in Design.\u00a0In 2010 as well as stalls, virtual interviews were also conducted online (skype) in the selection process for candidates with a Masters in remote areas of Curitiba and justified the failure to face interview.\u00a0Some orientation meetings were also conducted via skype with masters who reside in neighboring states and found themselves unable to come to UFPR on the dates scheduled by advisors.\u00a0As an example, the guidelines had master&#8217;s student Fernanda Pozza fortnightly and quarterly virtual classroom with Dr. Carla Spinillo in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth mentioning that the program has at its disposal a Video-Conference Room, located in the Education Sector UFPR, Building D.\u00a0Pedro I, 2nd floor (same building as the PPGDesign), which is part of Ipe Network, an infrastructure of the Internet focused on the Brazilian community of teaching and research.<!--:--><!--:pt-->No \u00e2mbito da UFPR o Ensino a Dist\u00e2ncia \u00e9 promovido pela Coordenadoria de Integra\u00e7\u00e3o de Pol\u00edticas de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o a Dist\u00e2ncia &#8211; CIPEAD\/UFPR, a qual tem como preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o priorit\u00e1ria o processo de forma\u00e7\u00e3o de massa cr\u00edtica para atuar em Educa\u00e7\u00e3o a Dist\u00e2ncia \u2013 EAD. Para regulamentar suas a\u00e7\u00f5es, bem como as ofertas de seus cursos, a CIPEAD &#8211; Coordenadoria de Integra\u00e7\u00e3o de Pol\u00edticas e Educa\u00e7\u00e3o a Dist\u00e2ncia da UFPR \u2013 elaborou e teve aprovadas nas inst\u00e2ncias competentes da UFPR as seguintes resolu\u00e7\u00f5es:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00ba 28\/08 \u2013 CEPE Fixa normas b\u00e1sicas de controle e registro da atividade acad\u00eamica dos cursos de Aperfei\u00e7oamento e Especializa\u00e7\u00e3o na modalidade de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o a Dist\u00e2ncia da Universidade Federal do Paran\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00ba 83\/08 &#8211; CEPE Aprova as normas b\u00e1sicas da atividade acad\u00eamica dos Cursos de Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o na modalidade de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Dist\u00e2ncia da Universidade Federal do Paran\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 RESOLU\u00c7\u00c3O N\u00ba. 08\/03 &#8211; COUN: Estabelece o Regimento Interno da Coordenadoria de Integra\u00e7\u00e3o de Pol\u00edticas e Educa\u00e7\u00e3o a Dist\u00e2ncia &#8211; CIPEAD (Antigo NEAD) da Universidade Federal do Paran\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>Atrav\u00e9s do CIPEAD professores do PPGDesign\/UFPR vem buscado a capacita\u00e7\u00e3o para trabalhar no ensino a dist\u00e2ncia. Tem sido realizados no programa <strong>experimentos piloto<\/strong> na utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da plataforma Moodle, a qual se constitui em um sistema de administra\u00e7\u00e3o de atividades educacionais destinado \u00e0 cria\u00e7\u00e3o de comunidades on-line, em ambientes virtuais voltados para a aprendizagem. O Prof. Ricardo Martins, egresso do PPGDesign\/UFPR, tem liderado a dissemina\u00e7\u00e3o da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o desta plataforma no \u00e2mbito do Departamento de Design. Em 2013 o Prof. Dr. Adriano Heemann e Prof. Dr. Andr\u00e9 Luiz Battaiola realizaram o curso de aperfei\u00e7oamento \u201cCapacita\u00e7\u00e3o para Tutores em EAD\u201d (180 horas) promovido pelo CIPEAD da UFPR.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m das iniciativas suportadas pelo CIPEAD destaca-se as a\u00e7\u00f5es do N\u00facleo de Design e Sustentabilidade junto ao Cons\u00f3rcio LeNS South America. O cons\u00f3rcio LeNS tem como meta produzir de forma conjunta um pacote de Open E-Learning (um pacote modular e adapt\u00e1vel para o desenvolvimento de conte\u00fados curriculares com materiais did\u00e1ticos e ferramentas para professores de design, al\u00e9m de guias para cursos de design e para sua implementa\u00e7\u00e3o em diversos contextos). O NDS desenvolveu o m\u00f3dulo sobre Corporate Social Responsibility &amp; Design j\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel no portal desta rede a qual integrada pelas institui\u00e7\u00f5es Politecnico di Milano Unversity, INDACO Department (It\u00e1lia), Delft University of Technology, Industrial Design Engineering (Holanda), University of Art and Design Helsinki, School of Design (Finl\u00e2ndia), Indian Institute of Technology New Delli, Department of Humanities &amp; Social Sciences (India, Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology (India), Tsinghua University, Industrial Design Department, Academy of Arts &amp; Design (China), King Mongkut\u00b4s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Industrial Design (Tail\u00e2ndia).<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m dos experimentos em EaD, o Programa tem como pr\u00e1tica a participa\u00e7\u00e3o virtual online de examinadores externos nas bancas de qualificac\u00e3o via skype, assim como a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de pesquisadores de institui\u00e7\u00f5es em outras regi\u00f5es do Brasil e\/ou do exterior em discuss\u00f5es neste formato. Isto tem otimizado os recursos de custeio em passagens e di\u00e1rias do Programa e mostrado-se uma pr\u00e1tica com bons resultados. Em 2012, na disciplina Linguagem Gr\u00e1fica, foi ministrada pela Profa. Dra. Carla Spinillo e o mestrando Fabiano de Miranda via v\u00eddeo confer\u00eancia com a New York University, curso de Visual Design, envolvendo a apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o de trabalhos conjunto de alunos e debate de tema entre as turmas das duas institui\u00e7\u00f5es. Os resultados da disciplina Design da Informa\u00e7\u00e3o ministrada em conjunto com a mestranda Cristine Lanzoni 2012, realizada em coopera\u00e7\u00e3o com a empresa Whirpool (onde foi analisado os manuais de instru\u00e7\u00e3o da empresa), foram apresentados do Skype. Outro exemplo \u00e9 a disciplina de Fundamentos de Design de Sistemas de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o, ministrada pela Profa. Dra. Carla Spinillo para a UFMA.<\/p>\n<p>Em decorr\u00eancia destas pr\u00e1ticas foi adquirido pelo PPGDesign um \u2018kit skype\u2019 (televis\u00e3o mais microfone e c\u00e2mera). Em 2012 al\u00e9m de bancas, foram tamb\u00e9m realizadas entrevistas virtuais online (Skype) no processo de sele\u00e7\u00e3o para o Mestrado\/Doutorado com candidatos em regi\u00f5es afastadas de Curitiba e justificada a impossibilidade de entrevista presencial. Tal protocolo consta inclusive do edital do processo de sele\u00e7\u00e3o. Os professores vem utilizando com grande frequ\u00eancia reuni\u00f5es de orienta\u00e7\u00e3o via Skype ou TeamViewer.<\/p>\n<p>Vale ressaltar que o programa tem a sua disposi\u00e7\u00e3o uma Sala de Video-Confer\u00eancia, instalada no Setor de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o da UFPR, Edif\u00edcio D. Pedro I, 2\u00ba andar (mesmo pr\u00e9dio do PPGDesign), a qual faz parte da Rede Ip\u00ea, uma infra-estrutura de rede Internet voltada para a comunidade brasileira de ensino e pesquisa. Nas instala\u00e7\u00f5es do novo pr\u00e9dio do Setor de Artes, Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e Design j\u00e1 est\u00e1 prevista a implanta\u00e7\u00e3o de uma sala para v\u00eddeo-confer\u00eancia, o que dever\u00e1 ampliar a disponibilidade e comodidade para utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o do espa\u00e7o para os mestrandos\/doutorandos do PPGDesign.<\/p>\n<p>Alguns dos temas pesquisados no PPGDesign como \u201cjogos\u201d e \u201cambientes de hipermedia\u201d j\u00e1 vem tratando de forma direta a quest\u00e3o do ensino a dist\u00e2ncia. Como decorr\u00eancia destas pesquisas tem sido realizado produ\u00e7\u00e3o de conte\u00fado e m\u00e9todos que contribuem para a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o do conhecimento em EAD no pa\u00eds, como exemplificado a seguir:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ULBRICHT, V. R. ; VANZIN, Tarc\u00edsio ; MACEDO, Cl\u00e1udia Mara Scudelari de ; Douglas KAMINSKI . Ferramenta para incluir texto alternativo, no Moodle 2.0. 2012.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 MACEDO, Claudia. M. S. de . Geometria descritiva. 2012. (Desenvolvimento de material did\u00e1tico ou instrucional &#8211; conteudista &#8211; execu\u00e7\u00e3o de desenhos e anima\u00e7\u00f5es &#8211; design instrucional).<\/p>\n<p>Os professores tem adotado a pr\u00e1tica de disponibilizar seus conte\u00fados no ambiente web, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 para os alunos do PPGDesign mas, tamb\u00e9m, para a comunidade em geral. Como exemplo desta pr\u00e1tica o professor Dr. Andr\u00e9 Battaiola tem apoiado a gest\u00e3o e a disponibiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de conte\u00fados atrav\u00e9s de seu blog (ufprdesignprofealbattaiola.blogspot.com.br). O prof. Dr. Aguinaldo dos Santos, assim como v\u00e1rios professores do programa, tem utilizado ferramenta de gest\u00e3o de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e gest\u00e3o de conte\u00fado em suas respectivas disciplinas (blogspot, google docs, 4shared, dropbox, youtube, etc). Outro exemplo de a\u00e7\u00e3o neste sentido \u00e9 a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da plataforma Mendeley pelos mestrandos para compartilhar seu material bibliogr\u00e1fico entre si e com p\u00f3s-graduandos das institui\u00e7\u00f5es parceiras.
