The research areas of the Master in Design UFPR meet the areas \/ subjects of investigative interest of teachers \/ researchers of the program are in line with the research groups registered in the CNPq, which are associated with teachers \/ researchers of the program. In this proposal were two lines of research defined as follows.<\/p>\n
LP1 | Design of Information Systems<\/p>\n
This line studied information systems, devices and analog and digital graphic documents in order to promote efficiency of the process of visual communication. Are investigated syntactic, semantic and pragmatic about the interface and graphics to your readers \/ users [eg understanding, emotion, persuasion, motivation, interactivity]. Through the use and development of theoretical and methodological approaches, seeking satisfactory results in the design, interaction \/ use and evaluation of information systems, artifacts, documents and graphics.<\/p>\n
LP2 | Design of production systems and use<\/p>\n
This study presents the development and use of products \/ objects \/ artifacts, considering the behavior of the user, the usability, accessibility and manufacturability of systems and products, ergonomic and technological factors, and issues relating to culture and sustainability. This research seeks to develop knowledge in order to achieve design quality, sustainable and socially responsible and giving a competitive edge in the production sector, from associations of craftsmen to large companies.<\/p>\n

LP1 | Design de sistemas de informa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/p>\n
Nesta linha s\u00e3o estudados sistemas de informa\u00e7\u00e3o, artefatos e documentos gr\u00e1ficos anal\u00f3gicos e digitais no intuito de promover a efic\u00e1cia do processo de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o visual. S\u00e3o investigados aspectos sint\u00e1ticos, sem\u00e2nticos e pragm\u00e1ticos referentes \u00e0s interfaces gr\u00e1ficas e aos seus leitores\/usu\u00e1rios [e.g. compreens\u00e3o, emo\u00e7\u00e3o, persuas\u00e3o, motiva\u00e7\u00e3o, interatividade]. Atrav\u00e9s da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o e desenvolvimento de abordagens te\u00f3ricas e metodol\u00f3gicas, busca resultados satisfat\u00f3rios na elabora\u00e7\u00e3o, intera\u00e7\u00e3o\/uso e avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de sistemas de informa\u00e7\u00e3o, artefatos e documentos gr\u00e1ficos.<\/p>\n
LP2 | Design de sistemas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o e utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o<\/p>\n
Estuda-se o desenvolvimento e uso de produtos\/objetos\/artefatos, considerando o comportamento do usu\u00e1rio; a usabilidade, acessibilidade e manufaturabilidade de sistemas e produtos; os fatores ergon\u00f4micos e tecnol\u00f3gicos; e as quest\u00f5es relativas \u00e0 cultura e \u00e0 sustentabilidade. Esta linha de pesquisa busca o desenvolvimento de conhecimento de maneira a se obter design de qualidade, sustent\u00e1vel e socialmente respons\u00e1vel e conferindo maior competitividade ao setor produtivo, desde associa\u00e7\u00f5es de artes\u00e3os at\u00e9 grandes empresas.<\/p>\n
